We are excited to announce the release of ShiftOS 3.1! This update enhances shoe performance and enables you to connect your shoes to your phone, unlocking additional information and features. You can follow these steps to get started and activate your Moonwalkers with ShiftOS 3.1:&#xA0;<iframe width="100%" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Oj964dnDua0?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen class="fr-draggable"></iframe> <ol start="1"><li data-list="number" style="font-size: 16px;">Download the newest app:&#xA0;Make sure you have the latest version of the Shift app. If you&#x2019;re on iOS, update the app <a data-lark-is-custom="true" href="https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shift-robotics/id6451123343">here</a>. If you&apos;re on Android, update the app <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shiftrobotics.android&amp;pcampaignid=web_share">here</a>.</li><li data-list="number" style="font-size: 16px;">Plug in your Moonwalkers and enable OTA mode:&#xA0;For existing users with older ShiftOS versions, plug in your Moonwalkers and wait until both shoes show a green LED light. Press and hold the button on each shoe until the green light turns off. Once released, you will see a blue LED light with a breathing pattern. Repeat this process for both shoes. More details about the Over-The-Air (OTA) update and troubleshooting can be found <a data-lark-is-custom="true" href="https://help.shiftrobotics.io/en-US/updating-your-moonwalkers-aero-749632">here</a>.</li><li data-list="number" style="font-size: 16px;">Reboot your Shift app and follow the app instructions:&#xA0;Ensure your Bluetooth is turned on, and refresh the app from the background. Follow the instructions in the app to find and connect your Moonwalkers to your phone.</li><li data-list="number" style="font-size: 16px;">Check the software version:&#xA0;After connecting with the shoes, go to the Dashboard where the software version will be displayed. Click on the software version block. If the software version is not the latest, proceed with the update.</li><li data-list="number" style="font-size: 16px;">Unplug and restart:&#xA0;Once the update is successfully completed, both shoes should display solid blue lights. Simply unplug the cables and restart the app. You&#x2019;re now ready to go! If you encounter any issues, follow the <a data-lark-is-custom="true" href="https://help.shiftrobotics.io/en-US/articles/troubleshooting-support-65184">troubleshooting guide</a> to debug.</li></ol>Important Note:&#xA0;If your previous OTA version is below 3.1 and this is your first time updating to OTA 3.1, your device will start in INDOOR mode by default.
